All our activities are aimed at enabling poor people, at least to some extent, to live in conditions worthy of human dignity. The foundation’s main activity is running the Charity Kitchen – one of the largest and oldest facilities supporting people in need in our city.

Every year during the Christmas season, a Christmas Eve dinner for the poor is organized. It is one of the largest events of this kind in the city, organized for around 550 people. Those who attend sit together for the Christmas Eve meal and receive food parcels. On Holy Saturday, holiday packages are distributed to people using our kitchen. Some of the donations come from food drives organized in churches.

Our activities are not limited to serving meals. We also provide spiritual support: we organize Advent and Lenten retreats, provide pastoral care, individual conversations, and counseling.

We are aware that the people under our care face major difficulties in many aspects of social reality, including employment, legal matters, raising children, or even participating in cultural life. With them in mind, we run a family support center, offer consultations with a lawyer, an addiction specialist, and a social worker, as well as cultural initiatives such as a Film Discussion Club.
