Young people are the future of our Church and society – which is why it is so important to surround them with care and support today.

For the past 10 years, the “Youth for Youth” Foundation for Youth Development has been accompanying young people in their spiritual, social, and emotional growth. We want every young person to have people by their side who will listen, understand, and help them find their way during important moments in life.

Our mission is to create spaces where young people can grow, discover their talents, and build relationships based on trust and values. We carry out our activities with the blessing of Archbishop Józef Kupny and with the support of Bishops Jacek Kiciński and Maciej Małyga.

Two important initiatives for young people:

Youth Emotional and Spiritual Support Center 💛

More and more young people today struggle with loneliness, emotional crises, difficulties in relationships, and questions about the meaning of life. That is why we are creating the Youth Emotional and Spiritual Support Center – a place of help for young people going through difficult moments.

This is a place where a young person can talk, receive support, benefit from professional assistance, and find spiritual guidance.
We want no young person to have to face their struggles alone.

Home for Young People 🏠

Our second great dream is the Home for Young People currently being created on Ostrów Tumski in Wrocław.

It will be a place of meeting, growth, and support for young people aged 15–19.
The Home will create a safe space where young people can build relationships, develop passions, learn and discover their talents, talk about important matters, rest, and simply be themselves.

The Home for Young People will include, among others:

🍽 Dining Area and Kitchen with a Fully Stocked Fridge

The Home will operate in two forms.

🔓 Open model – young people will be able to come freely after school, meet with peers, have a meal, relax, and talk.
🧭 Program model – we will organize workshops, development meetings, events, conversations with psychologists, formation activities, and preventive conferences.

The Home for Young People will also support parents and schools through educational and consultation activities.

Why is this so necessary?

In recent years, we have observed many difficult trends among young people: social relationships moving into the online world, isolation after the pandemic period, a growing sense of loneliness, the pressure of constant comparison, and increasingly early contact with alcohol and substances.

In many cities, the street is becoming the only meeting space for young people.

That is why we want to create an alternative based on relationships, presence, and growth.

The Home for Young People is a form of prevention through community – a place that strengthens young people’s mental health, develops emotional skills, builds peer relationships, and strengthens family bonds.

Initiatives we are already creating for young people

Thanks to the support of our Donors, we are able to organize many activities for the younger generation.

🙏 Retreats and formation meetings, including New Year’s retreats that help young people discover their faith and the meaning of life.
🎓 Workshops and educational projects, including the Youth Project aimed at educators, catechists, parents, and specialists to help them better understand the needs of the younger generation.
🌍 International initiatives, including preparing young people for the Jubilee of Youth in Rome and World Youth Day in Seoul.
⛰ Integration events and pilgrimages, such as the Youth Meeting of the Archdiocese of Wrocław on Mount Ślęża, World Youth Day in Wrocław, and the High School Graduates’ Pilgrimage to Jasna Góra.
⛪ Local parish initiatives that support young people preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation and help build vibrant youth communities in parishes.
